Transcontinental flights to London (Heathrow, Gatwick or Luton), Prestwick and Glasgow connect daily with flights to Inverness. There are also flights from some European cities to Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Please check with your travel agent for the most current information.There is a bus service from Inverness Airport to Inverness City centre, or Nairn (between Inverness and Forres). Busses run from Inverness, via Nairn hourly through out the day. Otherwise the quickest way from the Airport to Findhorn Foundation is by taxi, which takes about 35-40 minutes costing £30-35. It may be possible for us to co-ordinate lift shares from Inverness on request.

By Rail
Our local train station is Forres. There are good rail connections from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen city centres Forres linked to the airports by bus or train. Trains to Forres run via both Aberdeen and Inverness. There are sleeper trains from London to Inverness and Aberdeen, with connections to Forres.Booking trains on-line in advance is by far the cheapest option. You may find that booking tickets to neighbouring stations, Elgin or Nairn, and buying additional single tickets to Forres is a cheaper option. We tend to find that National Express is a good place to start.

Public busses run from Forres Station to the town centre, and from there to The Findhorn Foundation, The Park. The journey takes about 20 minutes.

Various companies run services from London (Victoria Coach Station), Glasgow and Edinburgh to Aberdeen and/or Inverness. Megabus operates a service from Edinburgh Airport to Inverness.Coach services from Aberdeen and Inverness to Forres are operated by Bluebird/Stagecoach.

By Car
Travelling from the south via Edinburgh or Glasgow join the A9 at Perth. 5 miles past Aviemore, take the right turn onto the A95 to Granton-on-Spey and then the A939/A940 to Forres and Aberdeen.If driving from Inverness, follow signs to Forres and Aberdeen (A96). When you reach Forres, follow the signs to Findhorn (B1011). The Findhorn Foundation is on your right before you reach the village of Findhorn. If you don’t have access to a “satnav” then the AA Route Planner is the next best thing.
