More news from Japan

Monday - no internet since I left Tokyo so I will continue. The workshop in Fukuoka went very well. Dancing 5Rhythms gives such  a rare permission for Japanese people to release and let go. This country has a 'right way' to do everything. Very beautiful and on the harsh side, restricting. One woman said at the end that it was amazing how in the space of 2 days I had succeeded in creating a sense and experience of community for this disparate group of people - which is what I love to accomplish. So much need for connection...

Liz and I can't quite believe that we really are here in japan together. I have now been at 2 of her concerts and cried at both, she has such an exquisite voice. Everyone wants her autograph! There was a woman at Liz's concert Saturday night who lives right by where we were to drive to the next day for our 2 night mountain hot spa retreat. She came and danced on Sunday, so we cancelled our hire car and after the workshop ended she drove us to the door of where we were staying, took us to an amazing cafe on the top of a mountain in the middle of a forest and was our guide all day today. We went to a natural sulphur hot spa (bad smell!) and a beautiful walk in the very best of Japan's Autumn. Some relaxing time in the midst of a people-full schedule. Tonight was our one 'quiet'  night - Liz gave a small concert/soiree to about 6 people, very intimate and then they stayed to ask and talk about Findhorn.

Tomorrow we head off to see a volcano (active I think), and then fly back to Tokyo where I will email this out. It snowed tonight here in the mountains  very early for snow... I was sunbathing on Saturday in the city...

Thinking of all my dear friends and family whilst I am out here - Kezia made me a little bundle of love which I carry with me all the time in my trousers pocket Happy

much love
