Articulation - ONLINE
Welcome aboard!
I am really excited to be offering these sessions online and I look forward to exploring this format with you. Please read through the following recommendations, so that you are well prepared for our journey together.
Dates: 13 January - 10 February 2026
Times: Tuesdays 5.30 PM - 7.00 PM, UK time (check your timezone here)
Zoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87645265293
Meeting ID: 876 4526 5293
Please make sure that you have updated your Zoom to the latest version before the session, this ensures you have the best audio visual experience.
The Zoom room will be open 10 minutes before the sessions start (from 5:20pm UK time), with music on to support your transition into our group space. You are very welcome to get in early, make sure your technical set up is working well, and then you can have plenty of time to warm up and dance!
Please log in early so that we can start promptly at 5:30pm.
What do I need to join?
You’ll need a computer, tablet or phone, and as strong an internet signal as you have access to.
If you have a computer, we recommend choosing that over the tablet or phone. Not only will the sound be better but also you can interact more and see more of others.
If you can, connect your computer/phone to an external speaker for better sound quality.
Make some space to be somewhere comfortable enough to move and sit. If you are in a shared space, find a room to yourself so you can dance un-self consciously. Minimise distractions (doorbell/email/phone/household appliances/TV/pets) so that you can be as present as possible. And clear your diary so you can fully engage and receive from this time that you've invested in.
Wear comfortable clothes to move in.
Have your water bottle nearby, and if you have low blood sugar, also some snacks.
Have a journal/paper and pen nearby, we will use them for writing.
Some device that you can use for timing in the breakout rooms in case it is needed.
If you’re in a shared space, please consider using headphones for confidentiality.
Accessibility
Deborah would appreciate knowing in advance if you have any accessibility needs that would be helpful to be made aware of, and if you are on any kind of medication. This information will be treated confidentially - please email Deborah directly.
Team
Deborah will be assisted by Aileen Reid, an Open Floor Teacher based in Scotland.
Recordings
All sessions will be recorded (Speaker View only) and available to rewatch until an agreed-upon time.
Optional Peer Practice Gathering
Alongside the Articulation sessions, there will be a no charge, optional, weekly Peer Practice Gathering — a space to share lived experience of working with Embodied Anchors and CMRs (and any other themes Deborah explores). The intention of these Peer Practices is to support one another around growing edges and challenges, and to exchange learning, inspiration, and practical ideas from our own teaching.
Hosted by assistant Aileen Reid (with the option to rotate hosting), these sessions will include time in small breakout groups and in the full circle.
On-the-day Communication
If you have any issues i.e. with the zoom link, have been delayed or need assistance - please email Aileen: aileen@aileendance.org
