  • How do I move impulse from inside to outside

  • What happens when someone else’s impulse moves towards me

The Practicalities

Meet Deborah

Professionally, Deborah has been working in the field of movement and embodiment for 30+ years. She qualified as a Sesame Movement and Drama Therapist in her early 20s, soon broadening into the field of conscious movement and teaching 5Rhythms® for over 25 years.

In 2014, she was one of a group of 15 Founding Teachers of Open Floor International (OFI) and in 2016 attended OFI’s Therapy in Motion training with Andrea Juhan and Irit Ziv-Ron. In 2023 & 2024, she completed both the Foundation & Applied Training with The Centre for Systemic Constellations.

She has a blended professional life, working online and in-person, with large groups, small groups, and one-to-one. Her respect for the wisdom of the creative body is incisive and contagious.

I am committed to personal development, and nurturing individual and collective transformation….. I hold the teaching space with deep attentiveness, clear instruction, and an absolute delight and love of movement.

Meet Michael

I’m a Certified Workshop Facilitator for the Wheel Of Consent, as well as one of the core faculty team for the School Of Consent.

I offer one-to-one coaching, as well as facilitating workshops.

The Wheel Of Consent first entered my world while I was doing my training to become a Certified Sexological Bodyworker (find out more about this). I quickly realised that consent is about so much more than simply saying ‘yes’, or ‘no’.

In fact, I’ve come to believe that consent is fundamental life-skill - bringing tangible benefits not only to hands-on bodywork, but to almost all areas of life, even ones which don’t involve touch!

The more I live, work and play with the Wheel Of Consent the more I learn with it. It’s a little like peeling an onion - there are always new insights to discover.

And I never stop being amazed seeing the power of transformation that such a seemingly simple tool can bring to the lives of those who engage with it.

Having previously lived and worked for 20 years in London, as well as spending time in Australia, and New Zealand, I’m now based in Hastings, on the south coast of England, an easy journey from London. I also offer coaching sessions online, and throughout the UK, and workshops online and all over the world.

I coach and teach by creating safe, gentle, and engaging touch-based environments. Choice and the needs of the individual are at the centre of each learning experience I facilitate, whether in a group, a partnership, or with an individual.

Michael is a wonderful facilitator. He creates a safe space so I completely trusted him and could relax into the practice. I benefited immensely from what I learnt and what I felt.
