A Systemic Constellations workshop

with Deborah Lewin + Liane Maitland

12 - 14 June 2026 ~ FINDHORN, Scotland

Old systems and structures break down to make way for what follows. They always have and they always will. It’s often a painful process as we grieve, swim in liminal waters, search for clarity, and for light in the darkness – individually, and collectively.

At the heart of Systemic Constellations work is a belief that the roots of the issues we struggle with most lie deep in the unconscious of our wider familial, social, and cultural systems.

Now more than ever, in the face of global uncertainty and change, it is crucial we find ways to centre, stay open-hearted and untangle ourselves from what we inherited, which isn’t ours to carry.

We invite you to join us in this shared exploration.

This workshop will take place at the Universal Hall, The Park Ecovillage in Findhorn, SCOTLAND - see below for information.

The Creation of Éa

Only in silence the word,

only in dark the light,

only in dying life:

bright the hawk's flight

on the empty sky.

— Ursula K. Le Guin

What will we be doing?

If you have not experienced Systemic Constellations work before, it can be difficult to explain! It is essentially a creative way of addressing a wide range of issues in relationships, families, at work, with health or other challenges. The approach involves taking the widest possible view of a situation through the creation of a ‘human map’, providing an objective perspective on a persistent story.

  • We explore loyalties to those who came before us (our parents and ancestors), intergenerational patterns and the hidden dynamics which help and hinder us, with the aim of being able to move forward more freely.

  • Throughout the weekend we will listen deeply to, and learn to trust, the information we receive from our somatic body.

  • We will explore individually, in small groups and in the larger group. The weekend will be experiential, and everyone is likely to participate, whether as a representative in someone else's Constellation or in the holding circle (both of which can be a powerful experience and bring great insight for your own life), or you may do a piece of work yourself, although there is no guarantee of this.

  • The emphasis will be on experiment and play, wondering and sharing, and we hope you will join us! There will also be plenty of opportunity for rest, and exploring beautiful Findhorn Bay, and the Findhorn Ecovillage.

Who the workshop is for

  • This workshop is open to anyone aged 18+ who wants to:

    • Explore (and / or deepen into) the blessings and burdens of ancestral stories through the method of Systemic Constellations

    • Connect with like-minded and hearted kin (seen and unseen)

    • Pause, rest and reflect

    • Spend time on sacred land

    • Strengthen their capacity to stay centred.

  • Although experience in embodied movement or Constellations is not necessary, at least one embodied movement practice class (or somatic ‘knowing’ in other ways) is recommended in advance if possible, further info here. If you are not familiar with Systemic Constellations, further info here.

  • Curiosity and open-heartedness are essential.

I really enjoyed the overt connecting to the field, and the overlaying of a specific enquiring structure...

I thought the initial ‘living maps’ related to what we were arriving with were very valuable!
— Kirstie S., Rewiring Unconscious Contracts, Glasgow 2024
This was a miraculous day, a novel blending of embodied movement and Systemic Constellations which makes so much sense. I felt a big shift of energy in the Constellation work which was embedded and carried forward with me through the open floor dance movement. So exciting to experience this innovative approach...

I felt tremendous energy and excitement from people and think it was a wonderful creation.
