This weekend is Dance North's RISE, a three day celebration of global Indigenous dance and performance at The Park Ecovillage, Findhorn. I was fortunate to attend a performance at Eden Court, Inverness, on Wednesday, about the stolen children from Indigenous Aboriginals, which is still going on. Sadly, tragically, themes of displacement that are centuries old continue to be relevant. Art, as we know, is a powerful medium to connect with these painful and important ancient and contemporary stories. To see the programme (and be inspired for 2027!), click here.
On a more personal note, thank you to everyone who emailed me, donated, and offered kind words after my son Jake's accident in March 2025. Jake is doing really well, and still recovering. If you'd like to know more, here's his latest update.
As you might notice below, I'm teaching fewer weekend workshops this year, so I hope to see you up/along here in Findhorn!
I am in preparation mode with Lucie for the Open Floor Teacher Training, and I am working more individually, both online and in-person, with the 'Just Me' Retreats and supervision. In these contexts, the Constellations' work is increasingly coming into the foreground, which I am loving. If you are interested in knowing more, please email me.
